About Our Course, Intro to Strategic Trends Briefings

Koinonia Institute’s first “Silver-level Issachar” course is Introduction to Strategic Trends Briefings, which will begin as a Grace Chapel group beginning Tuesday, January 24th. We will meet on Tuesdays at the Stevens’ residence (contact us for directions). We will learn how to track news from a Christian worldview, discuss current trends in light of Bible prophecy, pray about these trends and consider how our hands can be used in the harvest.

During our 3 meetings, we will:

• Consider and discuss reliable news sources
• Learn how to efficiently scan, filter and subscribe to news services
• Review, discuss and pray about pressing trends in the news
• Discuss ways we can enlist in what God is doing amidst the “storms”
• Discuss culturally relevant means of communication
• Watch and discuss the DVD “DNA By Design” by Stephen Meyer
• Watch and discuss the DVD “More Than Human” by Dr. Martin Erdman
• Learn about Koinonia Institute’s revised Issachar Track
• Review previous 5 and 15 minute “Bullet Briefings” from KI members

Anyone can attend and participate; however, to get credit through Koinonia Institute, you will need an active membership and have completed the Bronze courses. KI members will login to the Institute’s website to complete weekly quizzes and post a DQA. The two DVD’s we’ll be reviewing can be purchased for a total of $32.
