In February, 2010, Grace Chapel became the first church to host “face-to-face” courses from Koinonia Institute. We completed the Bronze level courses (Spiritual Disciplines, Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey and Intro to Prophecy) and have continued with other courses since that time. Our format involves watching weekly lectures (either as a group or on our own time), discussing the material in-person, prayer, fellowship (koinonia) and logging into our online classroom to complete quizzes and post editorial on our studies.

Intro to Strategic Trends Briefings

Tuesday, Jan 24th – 6:30pm – 4 Weeks – Meeting Location TBA

This short, 4-week course will focus on the significance of understanding the times we’re living in and knowing how to biblically keep our hands in the harvest.

Through this course, we will:

• Track and discuss news from a Christian worldview
• Learn about and discuss the origin of information
• Learn about and discuss transhumanism
• Pray and discuss biblical plans of action

Anyone can attend and participate. We will discuss 2 DVD’s, which you can purchase for a total of $32. To get credit through Koinonia Institute, you will need an active membership and have completed the Bronze courses.

The Book of Genesis

Late February – Details Coming Soon – 24 Weeks – Meeting Location TBA

This is an in-depth, exegetical study of Genesis taught by Dr. Chuck Missler. It is an essential foundation for the study of the entire Bible from both an historical and eschatological viewpoint. It devotes entire sessions on each of the Days of Creation, and explores recent perspectives from Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, quantum physics and other scientific advances.

Most importantly, this study investigates God’s enormous love and redemptive plan for us through Jesus the Messiah.

Anyone can attend and participate. Each participant will watch or listen to the lectures on their own time and come prepared to discuss the material in our weekly meetings. The lectures are available in DVD format for $72 or slideshow format for $32. To get credit through Koinonia Institute, you will need an active membership.
